I'd like to see some more on Cyprus, particularly northern Cyprus where most commentators have dismissed it without much substance to the reasons.

I'd be interested in another look at Albania - what progress has it made to EU entry? what are it's chances of success? Still seems like the new frontier but there could be serious money to be made. What are the risks?

I would personally like to know more about some countries outside of Europe which have potential for very strong long term growth and have the demographics in place that put a lot of upward pressure on demand for properties. For me this would be India and Vietnam although I do not really understand if foreigners can legally own in these countries.

We'll have a report out on India very shortly - the bottom line on ownership is it's not straightforward at all!

With Vietnam - and I agree, it's a terrific economic story - it's also problematic.

But, we'll certainly look into the situation further.

i am interested to know of potential in the emerging markets in Asia like Thailand, Vietnam, India. Hope to have more news of the properties in these countries too. I believe this region holds a lot of uncovered potential.

Also with the credit crunch, a lot of US property are also facing foreclosures. Are these potentials we should also look at?

re argentina, i agree that local financing is difficult. but a few people i know have been doing very well by remortgaging in the UK and US and using those funds to purchase in buenos aires for cash. market seems hot, and with further high reward (and high risk) ahead. current £$ exchange rate seems something of an opportunity for anywhere $-priced (as argentina is).
