Hi

I have done the same and now completed the transaction.

I guess the difficult thing was finding the 70% remaining after the collapse in the Romanian mortgage market. From what I can see this is the problem most people have had.

Once bought I setill believe it is a sound investment. I have been told my apartment will be rented out quickly, not by MRI. I would avoid getting a furniture pack from MRI as this has been a source of problem for everyone who has done this.

Overcoming these hurdles there is still an extensive capital growth after 5 years or so, so it would seem worthwhile to hold onto apartment if possible.

Cheers

I just want to get out now. There are too many If's
If I could get a mortgage,
If I could get my furniture fitted,
If I could rent the place out
I doubt the income less deductions would pay the mortgages which from the outset I was told it would, and on that understanding I bought.
A lot of people have had a lot of money off of me so far for very little in return and it would seem that a lot more would have to be spent which I simply do not have.
I do not believe or trust anyone anymore.

I do not doubt it will be a good investment in a few years time, but I can not keep throwing good money after bad for an indeterminate time.

Has anyone managed to get anywhere with claiming there deposit back?

I purchased in Onix and was unable to get a mortgage. I've recently been to see MRI who basically tried to sell me another property and could not offer a solution. In talk with the developers at the moment. Any help would be gratefully received.

I decided to sell my Flat in Quadra Place when it was completed. The service from IPA was very poor so I looked elsewhere. I gave Grupo FDP a try. They immediately found a tenant and the flat was fitted out to an economic budget without fuss. They are very responsive by email and I have to say that the service they have offered has been exceptional. The only regret I have is not trying them earlier.
