Thanks for your reply Gary..
It sounds like bad news all round doesn't it ?
What could possibly have happened to these furniture packs that cost a great deal of money ? I paid over the odds just so that i was keeping everything together with MRI. I even paid extra for this life aftersales rubbish which hasn't been any help..

I spoke to an Emma Kavangh.

I have bought two properties from MRI. The second property on Adelaide is not ready yet. My onix property is ready but the furtniture pack is not. I am moving the furtinture pack to Adelaide property. I am now buying a furniture pack from Dutchie Management who cliam they will ahve it installed within three weeks. 50 % up front payment, 50 % on completion.

I would still like to get my money back on the furniture pack.

To"Pablo22"

I didn't buy through MRI the greendfield units neither the furniture so I don't know about their aftersales services (not very good reading this forum...)

I bought furniture through Grupo FDP (www.grupo-fdp.com) who also rented my apartments there (also in Quadra Place when I started working with them almost 2 years ago) and are actually managing them.

Don't hesitate to contact them and tell them about my recommendation as I'm happy they know that I appreciate their work

Dear all

We too are in the same situation regarding furniture packs. So far have been waiting 6 months since completion, though they were paid for 6 months prior to this.

I know it's against the rules of this forum to contact each other directly but maybe the forum administrators would be good enough to help us out here as a Class Action is the only hope we have...

If there's a way we can all contact each other we can put pressure on them and I also have interest from a couple of well known primetime TV channels about this issue but they need more than just my story.

Jools

We dropped out of a purchase of 2 units and understood that we lost the deposit. We still feel we should have been refunded on the furniture packs as we are sure that they have not really been ordered from the supplier, or we should have been offered by MRI the chance to sell them on or have them delivered to another address ... some recompense .... it feels like theft ...
