I have received my snagging report. Either Budimex are fantastic developers or the snagging isn't that detailed. I have only 1 fault reported which seems unlikely to say the least. Has anyone else received their snagging report on this development? Has anyone actually been over to see the development and, if so, what can they say about the quality of the build? What experience have people got of other Budimex developments in terms of their quality? I guess it is worth bearing in mind that this is to black finish but even so...........

I've actually visited the apartments, and the fact that they're black finish makes the snagging pretty straight forward. Theres not much that can be picked at and my snagging went without any hitches. The black finish is something I wished Id picked up on when I fist invested with PS, having the apartments as a total shell finish makes the cost so much more expensive and so much more hassle if you want to try and get it added to the mortgage. I think PS could do its investors many more favours here by negotiating a cost for a white finish that can easily be added to the mortgage, although understandably its in PS's best interests to keep the initial cost low to make it a much more attractive deal. The Southbank development is very nice although the quality maybe not quite as good as Ive seen elsewhere, i.e. Pelikan Court in Poznan is a much better finish in my opinion.

Hi - I have also received my snagging report for this development. Mine had no snags.....amazing, but highly unlikely!! I would be interested to know to what quality of build that the snagging report has adhered to....

Many of us in the Marina development had the same experience. It is difficult to say whether or not the build quality and finishing is excellent, or if Rednet are doing a poor job. Certainly 18 months ago, Rednet were generaly poor in most respects, but Budimex have a good reputation (according to PS). After one year of letting, I am asking Rednet for a "condition" report (through i-PA), but so far I have had no resppnse. I will let you know if anything comes to light. Perhaps other Marina investors could do the same, and then we can assess (with the first year behind us) whether or not standards of snagging are generally lower than we expect, or if the apartments have stood up well.
