hi i am a first time buy to let investor i have 40k to invest in a regeneration area of manchester. in the experiance of members would it be better to invest in one off plan 3bedroomed semi detached with garage possible rent 500-550 or two, two bedroomed terraced possble rent 350-375. i know what the figures say but bearing in mind maintenance and void periods with the terraced, and a possible large increase in property value with the off plan property. im confused which is the better option. i plan to try and build a property portfolio. thank you RS
