I was at the show on Friday and can't say that I found it that busy - not in terms of actual investors anyway.

Lots of sales people eyeballing then jumping out at you with clipboards as you mentioned, and quite a few trade people like me and you - probably looking for signs of market recovery.

You're definately right in that there was very few UK companies/developers there. Mostly all overseas stuff.

I spoke with the show organisers and while they freely admit visitor numbers are down 2008 compared to 2007, they told me that the quality of visitor is much higher - no tyre kickers in the current market, much more serious and knowledgeable investors on the lookout for a good deal
