Just wondering if anyone else has received a Polish letter recently advising them they owe about 3200 PLN of 'PENALTY INTEREST'. I am adament I paid all my instalments on time and they have no given me any clue to WHY I owe this amount.

I have had a similar experience when buying in Budapest. Big developers reckon they can slap interest on you when it's not justified. In Budapest I paid it to keep the peace but I'm getting a bit fed up now.

I have also received a similar letter. I sent an email to the lawyers who got a response from the developer saying that I owe 14,000+ PLN. My understanding was that I had paid everything, and I certainly have not received any letter saying that I had money outstanding.

I will be working through my payment records this evening.

Sounds like a similar situation Bruce. I am now in contact with i-prop assets who are working with the lawyers to find out the exact details, I have forwarded all my payment records to i-prop assets. I at least need clarification of WHY I owe this money before I pay it.

Hi, is this related toWestland Court 2 or 1?

I think it's Westland 1. Booked in March 06, completing this month.

This must be a common thing.
I also have been asked to pay 22,000 PLN
This is made up of the Final payment 16,000 that Noble bank should have paid
Then around 6000 PLN late payment, the only reason it was late was because of Open finance.
Think I will stick with my BMV's in the UK in future. Doesnt seem like anybody in Poland can get anything right
