Manchester is fastly overtaking Birmingham as the UK’s Second City and the investment that has ploughed into the area during the 30 plus year reign of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United has been incredible. Buoyed by two huge football clubs, a buzzing underground music industry, and with re-development of the city centre somewhat fast tracked due to the horrific bombings of 1996, Manchester over the last two/three decades has emerged as a cultural, vibrant city with an awful lot going off.
