Manchester is fastly overtaking Birmingham as the UK’s Second City and the investment that has ploughed into the area during the 30 plus year reign of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United has been incredible. Buoyed by two huge football clubs, a buzzing underground music industry, and with re-development of the city centre somewhat fast tracked due to the horrific bombings of 1996, Manchester over the last two/three decades has emerged as a cultural, vibrant city with an awful lot going off.
For investors that is also positive news, and with the University and new Industry (in particular the BBC relocating to Salford) attracting increased population and employment, the city has a number of opportunities with a large proportion of new developments dotted around the city.
We work with a number of sourcers in the North West that find anything from student accommodation and apartments in the centre to more traditional buy to let houses on the outskirts.
