The demise of Inside Track - what does it mean?
It comes as no surprise to us at Property Secrets that a company like Inside Track has finally been found out. For years we have stressed that the type of property investment they promoted were either not serious investments (the holiday home market) or just plain bad in the long run (UK city centre flats).
Not only that, we always said that paying thousands of pounds for so-called "advice" is a waste of money. You would learn just as much, if not more (probably more), by forking out £54.99 for a copy of Buy To Let Secrets as you would paying £2,500 for an Inside Track weekend course.
The whole Inside Track model was geared towards making money for the company - not for its members - and because of that they're now reaping what they sowed.
That's all well and good. But for the hundreds who paid fortunes for Inside Track seminars and weekends and who bought into the investments they were touting this could mean the worst.
As our Editorial Director points out in one of our latest articles, if you're going to take advice on propert investment "Rely...on meticulously sourced, insight-led investments, offered only after a market has been carefully researched and assessed."
The bad news aside, I wonder if you have noticed a new feature on the Property Secrets website, allowing you to chat live and online with our Portfolio Development team about any investment opportunity you may be interested in? This is a fantastic, quick way to get answers to your questions "on the fly". Take, for example, our latest investment opportunity, Walker House in the Czech Republic (more below). It's in a new location so you are bound to want to know more about it.
The full Investment Report and Purchase Price Spreadsheet will be out later today, but in the meantime, you can use LiveChat to ask our Portfolio Development team anything you like about this deal. All you have to do is go to the Property Secrets homepage, click the button marked "chat with us live!" in the top right corner, enter your name (email address is optional) and you will be connected to one of the team almost immediately. If you have a question, give it a try.
Now, unlike Inside Track, let's get on with the latest news, analysis and advice from the Property Secrets team this week.
Cheers
