An exciting time in the UK with the change of government, and will be interesting to see the policies set out over the next few months.

Hopefully the markets will settle down now – and we will keep an eye on the impact on property investors.

More importantly for buy to let investors in the UK has been the introduction of 80% LTV mortgages – we always expected this to happen around now, although were surprised as to who moved to this level first!  This shows lenders getting further confidence in the markets at the buy to let end of the market – and I would expect another lender to go down this route over the next 3 months.

Gavin Elley (above) is our mortgage expert, Gavin is a consultant based in the Manchester Office of Mortgages for Business who's main office is in Sevenoaks Kent. Gavin is an expert in his field having over ten years experience in mortgage and financial advising.

Consultations

Over the past 2 years myself and my team have carried out around 200 consultations, and now we are in a position to carry out around 5-8 every week.

We are also able to do this completely free! All we ask is that you are a serious investor.

We send out pre-consultation work, which includes 7 key questions which will enable us to learn a great deal about you, and your goals before we meet, to maximize our consultation time.

During the consultation either myself or one of my consultants go through various actual options, based on your answers - and help get you moving. So whether you are keen on UK buy to let, Overseas emerging markets, or property Options we should be able to help!

We will look at various investment options, and will explain why some may suit you better than others, and why some are more attractive than others.

It is important firstly to be clear about what want to achieve, and then to take action!!

We then can keep in contact, before having an optional review in 3, 6 and 12 months time, where can review individual goals and strategies.

The consultations currently take place in London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Scotland and various other locations around the country and last around one hour.

We would suggest this is pretty unique in the property investment world - and allows us to give some knowledge back to investors.

In my research I have found nothing in comparison, and when we first highlighted this we were over run with enquiries!
