At the end of this month 29th March to be exact I will be attending the first ever South Eastern European Reinvestment & Development Forum, hosted by Europaproperty.com at the Marriott Hotel, Bucharest, Romania. Im very much looking forward to attending, not least because I will be moderating two discussions at the Forum. The first, starting at 11am, is a Bulgaria Country Panel. The panel is made up of Philip Bay, Regional Director South Eastern Europe, Colliers International, Valeri Valchav, Managing Partner Bulgaria and Serbia, Forton Commercial Property Advisers and Alexander Bebov, Managing Partner, Balkan Advisory Company. Well be looking at the opportunities Bulgaria now offers, what makes the market unique, who are the major players and how should investors be investing. The second at 12.40pm is the Romania & Bulgaria Accession Panel. The question well be addressing is what impact will accession to the EU have on these two countries. I will be joined by panelists Radu Lucianu, Partner, Eurisko, Mark Rea, Director, Gardiner & Theobald Hungary and Perry Zizzi, Counsel, Salans. Other interesting panels include a Romania Country Panel, Residential Investment Opportunities in Romania, South Eastern European Banking and Investment Panel and a Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro Country Panel.
