It is not surprising there is no developer’s discount, which is often featured in our deals when you look at the starting price of CZK286,136 (£78,241) and consider there is just a 15% deposit with the remaining 85% not due until December 2008.
This shows just how much the Czech property market is maturing, especially when you consider there are now 100% LTV mortgages on the market for foreigners. Although the practice of discounting the value to reach a bank value still persists, however, the discount is now around 5–10% so LTV’s of 95% are now possible.
