Poland won't raise taxes next year
27 July 2009
Polish Prime Minister announced that there would be no tax increases next year.
There were fears that the country will be forced to raise taxes because of the growing deficit, but after the modification to the budget approved recently, the government is confident that such measures won't be needed.
Poland lower the personal income tax rates at the beginning of this year and three brackets of 19%, 30% and 40% were replaced by two bands - 18% and 32%.
