Poland's 2009 GDP growth is forecast to be somewhere in the middle of the 0-1% range, with the bottom expected in Q2 and Q3, Economy Ministry analysis director Aneta Piatkowska told the Plish news agency, PAP.

"We are hovering very close to null in terms of GDP growth, Q2 and Q3 might be weaker than Q1.

"We cannot rule out GDP growth might be negative in those quarters, but our forecasts point to a figure slightly above zero," the official said.

The industrial output growth rate will stay negative until Q4 2009, Piatkowska said.
