Romania's deficit can't exceed 4.6% in 2009

According to the agreement that Romania concluded with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), its deficit cannot exceed 4.6% of GDP this year. This is similar to the result achieved in 2008 (4.8%).
The IMF granted Romania a €12.95 billion loan and will monitor the budget situation every three months. The first assessment of the Romanian economy will take place in September.
