Knowing that Neil considers success at football to be a boost to property values I thought I would give you some almost unbelievable news.

For far too many years football in Romania has been dominated by the big money that backs the three major Bucharest teams.

However this year they are out of the picture. Cluj CFR have done the double winning both the equivalent to the FA Cup and the Premier League title.

Just as Nokia put Cluj on the economic map of Europe last year now every football fan (and Club Director/investor) across the continent will have Cluj Napoca mapped on their brain. There's nothing like success at football to promote a city. Well done Cluj CFR!
