Denmark has just become Europe's first recession casualty. http: / /www .reuters .com /article /marketsNews /idUSL011228620080701 Who next Spain, Ireland, UK??? I would say all three within the next 12months. One thing that caught my eye - 'Poland's reading for the manufacturing sector shrank for the second straight month in June and the Czechs showed their third deceleration in growth.' I though Poland and the Czech Rep were going from strength to stregth despite problems in more westerly countries. Anyone read any more

Hi Tom The Czech Republic recored a higher than expected trade surplus in May rising to 9.22 billion crowns while economic growth was 5.3% in the first quarter of the year. Compare this to figures in some of those western countries...
