We are trying to find the funding for our offplan apartment in Bucharest. We need to find a 70% mortgage for the final payment which is due very soon. The financial advisors that we have used have so far been unable to get one and we have been turned down two Romanian banks.
Can anyone recommend a financial advisor that may ba able to help. Even though lending criteria has been tightened, I have read that it should still be possible to gain a 70% mortgage.
We are currently in danger of losing our 30% deposit so any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure if it is an option for you, but raising the funds from the UK would be much cheaper.

I was close to completing on a Romanian mortgage early this year ( after a lot of effort ! ), in the end the interest rate, set up, managing and exit costs put it about twice the cost of UK money over 4 years. I don't think it has got any better.

In the end I released UK equity at 5% with very little cost, one of my better decisions.

If you find short term money you could complete and sell rather than lose the 30%.
