Piastow Apartments offers investors a low-risk, high-return opportunity to enter one of the fastest growing property markets in Poland. This is a beautifully designed, prime location development situated right next to a major arterial route into the city centre of Katowice. Piastow Apartments is the first development of its kind in an area mainly comprising of older style apartment blocks.
An average 14% discount to market valuation makes the prices in this development exceptional. Katowice can be compared to a similar industrial city, Lodz, which has average prices around PLN6,500/sqm (£1,150/sqm) for new builds. However, Katowice offers similar great capital growth potential but has even lower prices.
This development is due for completion in Q4 2008 which gives investors over 18 months of price growth. There is an estimated demand-supply gap of 10,000 units for new builds in Katowice currently. Other Polish cities with a similar dyname have seen more than 60% price growth and we expected the same before the completion of Piastow Apartments.
The development has great transport links and proximity to excellent shopping and recreation facilities. This area is very well connected with the city centre through tram/bus links which only take five minutes to the city centre. Located within walking distance is the biggest shopping mall in the Silesia region – the Silesia City Centre.
One of our successful developments – Oak Terraces – is also located on the way to the city centre on Sciegiennego Street. Oak Terraces sold out completely at launch in November 2006 and prices have already grown by 40% in the six months since.
